By entering the NEEDS portal and using NEEDS web sites, the portal user (“the User”) agrees to comply with the terms and conditions contained in this notice.

This portal is the exclusive property of Near East Engineering & Development Services, whose is located at Beirut, Lebanon (Tel. +961 1 373 032) referred to hereafter as “NEEDS”.

The web site’s publication manager is Dr Mounir Yehia, Chairman and CEO of NEEDS, who shall represent NEEDS for all NEEDS web sites.

The hosting company, which is responsible for direct and permanent storage of the portal is IDM.

The general architecture, as well as the software, content, technology and know-how in general, and any other elements which are part of the portal are exclusive property of NEEDS or its licensors.

Any total or partial use, copying, reproduction, publication, downloading, posting, transmission or distribution of this portal in whatever manner, without NEEDS 's express authorization, is prohibited.

NEEDS, the NEEDS logo and any derivative version thereof, as well as its partners' trademarks, whether or not owned by NEEDS, are registered trademarks. Any total or partial reproduction of such trademarks and/or such logos, made through the portal without NEEDS 's express authorization is prohibited in accordance with the relevant provisions of the French Intellectual Property Code.

NEEDS 's portal may usually be accessed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. However, NEEDS may, in its sole discretion, suspend, interrupt or cancel access to all or part of the portal in the case of, but not limited to the following events: force majeure, computer difficulties, difficulties related to the telecommunication network structure or technical difficulties, or for reasons of maintenance.

NEEDS will not be liable to any User or any other party for any direct, indirect, consequential or special damages or loss irrespective of their cause, nature or consequences, including without limitation any loss of profits, loss of programs or other data on the User's information handling system or otherwise. The User acknowledges that he/she has the skill and means required to use this site ; has checked that the computer equipment used does not contain any virus, that it operates correctly and that he/she has read the legal notice and agrees to comply with it.
 

Data Privacy

The User is hereby informed that personal data may be collected on the portal by NEEDS.

By becoming a registered User, or by responding to a survey or other request on our web site, the User acknowledges that he/she is voluntarily providing NEEDS with personally-identifiable data about him/her (e.g., name, address, telephone number or e-mail address) ('Personal data'). NEEDS may use such Personal data generally to respond to the User's inquiry, process orders or to provide the User access to specific account information.

Also, to support NEEDS customer relationship with the User, NEEDS may store and process Personal data to better understand the User 's business needs and how NEEDS can improve its products and services. NEEDS (or a third party on NEEDS 's behalf) may use Personal data to contact the User about an NEEDS offer in support of the NEEDS's business needs or to conduct online surveys to understand better NEEDS 's customers' needs and profiles.

However, NEEDS will refrain from selling, renting or otherwise marketing the User's Personal data to third parties without the User's prior consent. In any case, the User remains free not to become a registered User or respond to NEEDS surveys or other requests. The User is informed that he/she has a right to access, delete and correct his/her own Personal data by writing to NEEDS webmaster.

The User is informed that cookies can be used to provide the User with tailored information from a web site. A cookie is an element of data that a web site can send to the User 's browser, which may then store it on the User 's system. The cookie does not permit the identification of the User but is solely used to register the information pertaining to one User browsing the portal.

The User has a right to access, withdraw, and modify personal data collected via the cookie at any time.  Indeed, it is possible to refuse cookies and to ask to accept or refuse them. Browser settings can be adjusted to refuse all cookies. Cookies are stored on your computer. You can accept all cookies, then remove them by regularly deleting them in the files where they are located. Please note that cookies are stored differently depending on the browser you use.

All Users must refrain, when accessing personal data, from all collection, all direct or indirect use, or exploitation of such personal data and in general, from all acts which may affect the private life or the reputation of persons whose personal information is stored or accessed on or from this portal.
Any use of the NEEDS portal is always subject to the provisions of applicable law, the violation of which may be subject to criminal sanctions.
